AUDITION INFORMATION

Membership in Los Cancioneros Master Chorale is at the discretion of the director and is by audition only. Auditions consist of:

1. Sing a solo piece
2. Sight-read a voice-part from a choral selection
3. Clap rhythms
4. Tonal/Atonal memory
5. Sing intervals

Auditions are typically held each year in August or September, but may be arranged at other times if space permits.  Singers accepted into the Chorale will be required to make the commitment to attend Tuesday evening rehearsals.   To arrange an audition, contact our Audition Manager.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Because Los Cancioneros is a non-profit organization, dues are an important source of funds. Annual dues are currently $130.00 per singer. Dues are waived for student singers. Concert dress will be provided for women. Men provide their own tuxedos or dark suits.

Rehearsals are from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Alondra Hall, at the rear of Hope United Methodist Church, 3405 W. Artesia Blvd., Torrance 90504.
